Angela Vick is an elected Constitutional Officer, serving as Clerk of the Circuit Court and Comptroller. As such, her duties include acting as Chief Financial Officer for the Board of County Commissioners. The Financial Services division fulfills this role for the Board by safeguarding all assets and accurately maintaining financial records in accordance with generally accepted governmental accounting principles and in compliance with statutory requirements. Financial Services ensures that the financial statements of the Board are audited annually and prepares the Comprehensive Annual Financial Report.
In carrying out the above responsibility, Financial Services pre-audits and properly records accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll, capital assets, and grant accounting. In addition, Financial Services monitors debt service requirements, compliance with bond requirements and provides cash management services.

Clerk to Board of County Commissioners
The Florida Constitution provides for the Clerk to act as ex-officio Clerk to the Board of County Commissioners. In this capacity, primary responsibility of the Clerk is to record the meeting minutes and maintain the index of the minutes for the Board of County Commission meetings. Meetings are electronically recorded by the Clerk and available for the public on the Clerk's website. These actions by an independent, elected official, assures the integrity of the minutes.
