of the Court.s office as a Special Service Clerk ("SSC"). The Clerk's office may be able to utilize your expertise.
Any time donated is greatly appreciated and volunteering as few as two or three hours a week is a tremendous help
to the Clerk's office.
SSCs are invaluable members of the Clerk's office in assisting Deputy Clerks perform many functions for the
citizens of Citrus County. SSCs provide support in various capacities to the many divisions of the
Clerk's office. Courts, Official Records and Customer Service departments, to name just a few,
are always appreciative of extra hands. As a representative to the public, SSCs also furnish
valuable information on services offered at the Clerk's office.
SSCs serve as liaisons between the Clerk's office and the citizens of Citrus County. As an emissary for the
Clerk's office, you will have an opportunity to observe first hand how efficiently and effectively the
Clerk conducts business as the steward of public records and public funds.
